About the Knights Of Columbus

Charity is one of the core values of the Knights of Columbus, and the organization is widely known for its charitable works. The Knights of Columbus supports various charitable causes, including disaster relief efforts, programs for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities, and support for families in need. The organization also provides funding and volunteer support to various organizations and initiatives, such as seminaries, schools, and hospitals.

One of the most significant charitable initiatives of the Knights of Columbus is its support for individuals with intellectual disabilities through the “Special Olympics.” The organization provides funding, volunteer support, and other resources to help Special Olympics programs provide sports training and athletic competition to individuals with intellectual disabilities.

In addition to its direct charitable activities, the Knights of Columbus also encourages its members to be actively involved in their local communities and to engage in charitable works in their own communities. Through its various initiatives, the organization plays a significant role in promoting and supporting charitable causes both nationally and internationally.

Our Fish Fry is just one of our efforts locally. Net proceeds will be distributed to qualified 501 (c) organizations that help intellectually disabled and physically disabled folks. Eat fish. It’s good for the body and the soul.
